The starting line for The Fur Rondy, Iditarod Dog Races & The Reindeer Run

The 2026 Fur Rendezvous (Rondy) and Iditarod ceremonial start, along with the Running of the Reindeer, take place in downtown Anchorage on March 7, 2026, primarily on 4th Avenue. The Iditarod ceremonial start is on 4th Ave and D St, while the Running of the Reindeer begins at 4:00 PM on 4th Ave between D and H Streets.
